10日、左派党共同議長のジャン・リュック・メランション（Jean-Luc Mélenchon,）氏が2017年の大統領選挙に出馬の声明を出した。メランションは社会党を中心にした左派陣営の仏大統領選挙の予選選出選挙に参加しないことを10日夜の民法テレビTF1に出演し宣言した。
